Health Minister Dr. Azra Pechuho emphasized that early detection and prevention are vital. She said all medical staff must stay alert and ensure dengue test kits, medicines, and platelets are available in sufficient supply. The department also began an awareness campaign to educate citizens about dengue symptoms and protection methods.

To strengthen monitoring, the Sindh dengue control teams will inspect schools, offices, and residential areas for mosquito breeding sites. Municipal staff have been instructed to clear stagnant water and fumigate affected zones daily.
